Personal information of the applicant may only be used for the specific purpose of the services offered, unless the applicant has otherwise consented or it is permitted by law.

Personal information of the applicant is kept by us for a limited period of time, to fulfil the purpose for which we collected it or as may be required by law.

Safeguarding applicant information

We take precautions to protect the applicant's information from any loss or illegal use, access and disclosure.

All of the applicant's information is secured by safeguards that match the sensitivity level of that information.

Sensitive information

Details such as refugee or displacement status and disability are used only to support the learner and to plan inclusive learning.

Only the learner, their facilitator, their school administrator and Mindset administrators can see these details. They are never shown on shared credentials.

Byte, the AI helper

Chats with Byte are not saved. Byte only gives hints and feedback, and never decides a learner's level.

Your choices

A learner, or their parent or guardian, can ask to see, correct or delete their information, or withdraw consent, by contacting their facilitator or Mindset Group.
